stampotique challenge time

this week at stampotique, the challenge was set up by valerie.  she asked us to do something using winter whites.  for some reason monochromatic themes always feel extremely challenging to me.  it was also difficult to get a true upload for this color.
I used my rubber stamp,  crooked house and stamped it on patterned paper.  i cut it out and pasted buttons on over the windows.  i used lace for bushes and used markers and a white gel pen for the flowers. I used stampotique word rubber stamps, fly  and i cut out the words "then come home" from the stamp aborigine
If you would like to join in on the fun you can find all about the details by clicking the above link.  If you play you will have a chance to win a $30.00 gift certificate towards Stampotique stamps, and really, who couldn't use more stamps?!

Beautiful. I am in awe! It's so hard to work with one colour (especially white!) but you have done it perfectly :-)

Wow! You've Roc'd this challenge!! I know how hard this was to photograph - you've captured it beautifully! I love all of the whimsical elements - especially the effective use of the lace for texture and interest as bushes - neat-o!
